 A good dog will chase deer out of your garden...for the first few months. After that, most dogs will get used to the nibbling invaders and sleep right through their depredations. You see, deer aren't a threat to dogs, so they dogs don't have the same vested interest you do in making sure the nibblers stay out.One friend of mine has good luck with getting a new dog every year or so, but this option seems like it'd be even more expensive that store bought deterrents in the long term. |
