Your deer deterrent should be nearly trouble-free, but we have run up against a few malfunctions. The most common problem is the golf ball getting hung up on the striker plate. Keep an eye on the deterrent for the first couple of days and make adjustments as necessary to prevent this from happening.
Elecrical problems can also occur, but in our experience they've always been due to user error. Be sure to use a transformer of the proper voltage --- we burned out a motor by using a 6 volt transformer once. Also, don't let any of the electrical parts get wet.
If your deer deterrent is running fine and you still see deer damage, chances are that you have your deterrent in the wrong spot or don't have enough deterrents. Check out our instructions for more information.
