Step 10: Protect from moisture Your deer deterrent is just about complete! The last step is to make sure that all electrical components are protected from the elements so that you don't lose protection on a rainy night.  We keep things simple, wrapping a plastic bag around the connection between the transformer and the end of our extension cord. We make a little tin roof out of flashing to cover our drill and potentiometer. Feel free to pretty up your deer deterrent any way you want! |
